For My Fellow NaNoWriMo Participants

Dear For My Fellow NaNoWriMo Participants:
I want to encourage everyone who’s stymied right now.

We put mental handcuffs on our creativity sometimes when we set up writing routines. One of the lovely things about NaNoWriMo is the push to create in coffee houses, diners, with what we have, and in the time we’re given.

The search for a perfect pen, paper, software, lighting, room, should not define us as writers. The desire to create should let loose our self imposed boundaries. It should burn so brightly in us that a mere scrap of paper and a worn out pencil becomes vehicles for our souls. Write on, my fellow NaNoWriMo’ers, and seize the day.
